Clinical expertise at the heart of Omera Care
Omera Care is led by a nurse with over 15 years of hands-on clinical experience in some of Alberta’s most demanding healthcare environments — including acute care units and provincial hospitals.
Throughout her career, she developed a deep specialization in elder care, working closely with seniors navigating complex health conditions, post-acute recovery, and the challenges of aging. She witnessed firsthand how the transition from hospital to home could either empower or overwhelm patients — and she knew there was a better way.
That conviction led to the founding of Omera Care: a company where clinical excellence meets genuine human compassion. Every care plan, every hire, and every client interaction reflects the standards she upheld throughout her career.

Our Story
Why Omera Care exists
After years working on the front lines of healthcare — in busy acute care wards and provincial hospitals across Alberta — our founder recognized a gap that too many families fall through: the journey home after hospital care is often under-supported, leaving vulnerable seniors and individuals without the skilled, compassionate assistance they need to truly recover and thrive.
Omera Care was built to close that gap. Drawing on 15 years of clinical experience, our founder designed a home care model grounded in nursing best practices — one that treats every client as a whole person, not a set of tasks.
We serve clients of all ages across Edmonton and Alberta — from children with disabilities to seniors seeking to age with independence and joy in the home they love.
